Senate President, Bukola Saraki has informed the Senate that Governor Ahmed of Kwara state has revealed to him that a group of cultist who were due to be tried in Kwara today have been transferred to Abuja on the orders of the IGP and fears that a ploy to implicate him is underway.
This has changed the course of proceedings with the Senate President moving to the floor and Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu taking over proceedings. This is a developing story.
