Four-time UEFA Champions League winner and Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos has sent a farewell message to Liverpool and Egyptian attacker, Mo Salah after he appeared to have landed on his shoulder yesterday.
Ramos had sparked furious reactions from a section of the football fanbase after appearing to have landed abruptly on Salah’s shoulder. The Liverpool attacker was hauled off the pitch in tears with the Egyptian F.A fearing the most. However, further checks and X-Rays showed the absence of a fracture, but pointing to a liganent damage which makes the injury not as bad as feared.
Pundits and analysts have taken out time to see the Ramos-Salah incident at a closer angle with pictures and video replays suggesting Ramos held his hand and landed on it in an almost Wrestlemania-like fashion. While the incident remains cagey, Ramos’ antecedents have done little to help him as he has accrued over 20 career red cards.
“Sometimes football shows you its good side and others the bad. Above all we are fellow pros. Get well soon, Salah. The future awaits you.”he wrote on microblogging social handle, Twitter.
