Tempers flared during the fourth period of a semifinal of the Big Ten Men’s Lacrosse Tournament on Wednesday.
No. 2 Johns Hopkins met No. 3 Ohio State in the second semifinal of the day. With Ohio State up 5-4 and a little over nine minutes remaining in regulation, a scuffle broke out on the sideline after a hard check.
According to Clay Hall of WSYX in Columbus, two players were ejected for their roles in the brawl.
Hopkins went on to win the game by a score of 6-5 and will meet No. 1 Maryland in the championship game on Saturday.
