American rapper Lil Nas X has been arrested in Los Angeles after a bizarre incident that left many stunned. The Grammy-winning artist, born Montero Lamar Hill, was picked up by police in the early hours of Thursday morning after being spotted pacing up and down Ventura Boulevard wearing nothing but underwear and cowboy boots.
According to eyewitnesses, the rapper appeared agitated and was shouting at passersby to “join the party.” When officers arrived at the scene, he allegedly charged at them, leading to his arrest on suspicion of battery against a police officer. Authorities later rushed him to a nearby hospital over fears of a possible drug overdose.
Viral footage obtained by TMZ showed the “Old Town Road” star behaving erratically before his arrest, with many fans on social media expressing shock and concern over his condition. After receiving medical treatment, he was transferred to the Valley Jail in Van Nuys where he was booked on a misdemeanor battery charge.
