Tacha Insists She Would Have Won BBNaija Without Disqualification

LagosExplorer reports: Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Anita Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has stirred fresh debate after confidently asserting that she would have clinched the BBNaija Season 4 crown if not for her disqualification. Speaking on the Hot Takes podcast, the Port Harcourt-born reality TV star revisited her journey on the show, insisting her popularity and fanbase had already secured her path to victory before her exit.

Tacha, who was disqualified from the “Pepper Dem” edition following a heated clash with fellow housemate Mercy Eke, stated that her eviction did not reduce her belief in her dominance. “I knew I was going to win, I don’t think I would have won—I know!” she said with conviction. She highlighted the fact that she was the most-nominated contestant in the history of BBNaija, yet survived eleven eviction scares, an achievement she believes proves the strength of her fanbase, the “Titans.”

Her confidence comes years after Mercy Eke went on to make history as the first woman to win Big Brother Naija. The rivalry between the two housemates remains one of the most talked-about moments in the show’s history, with fans often divided over who had the stronger claim to the title.

Since leaving the house, Tacha has grown into a brand influencer, entrepreneur, and media personality, amassing millions of followers across social media platforms. Her latest remarks have reignited conversations about BBNaija’s impact on Nigerian pop culture, with keywords such as “Tacha BBNaija,” “Pepper Dem season,” and “BBNaija winner” now trending among fans debating what could have been if she had remained in the game.
