Transformation College Graduates 2025 Summer Diploma Class, Urges Readiness for AI Future

The Transformation College of Business and Technology (TCBT) has once again stamped its mark as a pioneer of forward-looking education, as it celebrated the graduation of its 2025 Summer Diploma Program students in Business Analysis, ISO Management Systems, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

The ceremony, which held virtually on Saturday, August 30, brought together graduates, families, academics, and industry professionals to mark the culmination of an intensive summer of learning and innovation.

The event, sponsored and funded by the Transformation Foundation of Business and Technology and supported by Training Heights Ltd, Audit, Advisory, Assurance and Assessment Services Ltd, Standards and Best Practices Ltd, was more than a graduation; it was a call to action for the new generation of professionals being trained to take charge in an era where technology and global competitiveness are rapidly reshaping opportunities.

The ceremony opened with a warm welcome from Boma Al Onyanabo, General Manager of Transformation College of Business & Technology (TCBT), who hosted the event. Setting the tone for the day, he commended the resilience and commitment of the graduating class. “This moment is not just about certificates,” he said in his address. “It is about courage, discipline, and readiness to step into a world where innovation, responsibility, and character will define true success. Transformation College is proud to have been part of your journey.”

Boma’s words resonated deeply with both students and guests, as he reminded them that education, especially in today’s unpredictable world, must be seen as an investment in personal growth and societal transformation.

The highlight of the event was the keynote address delivered by Prof. Akeem Olowolayemo, Head of the Future AI Research Group at the International Islamic University, Malaysia. With decades of experience in computer science and artificial intelligence, Prof. Olowolayemo gave an enlightening lecture that captured both the promise and the challenges of the AI-driven world.

Drawing from the transcript of his speech, Prof. Olowolayemo reminded the audience of how quickly artificial intelligence had gone from being a specialized area of research to a global disruptor. “In the past, you may not have bothered too much about AI,” he observed. “But the moment we saw ChatGPT and the explosion of generative AI, the conversation changed. Everybody began asking: what will happen to us in the next few years?”

He cited disruptive technologies that have already reshaped industries and careers, urging the graduates to see themselves not as passive observers, but as innovators with the capacity to drive change. “Disruption is inevitable,” he warned. “We must prepare, we must leverage, and we must be bold enough to lead. That is why institutions like Transformation College are vital—they equip you not just to survive, but to thrive.”

On her part, Edith Ugochukwu, the Program Director, spoke with pride about the dedication of the students who completed the rigorous summer program. She noted that the curriculum was intentionally designed to combine technical expertise with practical application, ensuring that graduates are immediately relevant in the job market.

“What we are witnessing today is the fruit of hard work and vision,” Edith remarked. “Graduates, you are now equipped with global-standard skills in Business Analysis, ISO Management, and Artificial Intelligence—skills that are urgently needed in today’s world. You are leaving here not just with knowledge, but with confidence and competence.”

Her comments underscored the College’s emphasis on employability and industry relevance, setting its graduates apart from many conventional programs.

The Founder of the Transformation College of Business and Technology, Dr. Orlando Odejide, used the occasion to restate the vision of the College. With a mix of gratitude and determination, he reminded the audience of the institution’s founding philosophy.

“At TCBT, our philosophy is simple: education must lead to empowerment,” Dr. Odejide declared. “We are not just producing graduates, but leaders and change agents who can drive innovation across industries. That is why we are deeply grateful to the Transformation Foundation of Business and Technology, A4S, Training Heights, Standard and Best Practices, and Panoramic Synergy Enterprises for their unwavering and continued support in funding and sustaining this vision.

Dr. Odejide emphasized that the College was committed to continually evolving its curriculum to align with global standards while retaining a strong focus on local impact. “The future is digital, the future is knowledge-driven, and the future belongs to those who are prepared,” he added.

The event was filled with moments of joy and reflection. Families joined the celebration virtually, applauding the achievements of their loved ones. Graduates were called one by one, with their names displayed proudly, symbolizing both an ending and a beginning.

Many students took to the chatroom and social media platforms to share their excitement. For them, the program had been both challenging and rewarding, a journey that had stretched their capacities and sharpened their ambitions.

As part of the proceedings, outstanding students were recognized, and heartfelt testimonials poured in, underscoring the impact of the program not only on academic skills but on personal growth.

As the ceremony came to a close, there was a palpable sense of expectation. The graduates are stepping into a world that is more competitive, interconnected, and technology-driven than ever before. Yet, armed with the tools and knowledge imparted by the Transformation College, they are better positioned to seize opportunities and shape the future.

The words of Prof. Olowolayemo lingered as a reminder of what lies ahead: “The question is not whether AI will change the world—it already has. The real question is: who will rise to lead in this change? My hope is that you, the graduates of Transformation College, will be among those leaders.”

The 2025 Summer Diploma Graduation Ceremony was not just a celebration of academic achievement; it was a clarion call to a generation prepared to make their mark. With the continuous support of the Transformation Foundation of Business and Technology, the College remains a beacon of hope for young professionals determined to succeed in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
