A documentary photographer has revealed online, what he described as the picture of a Bishop, alongside other unknown people praying for a priest who is suspected to have contracted the deadly Ebola virus currently ravaging the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The photographer, Will Swanson, posted the photograph on his Twitter handle, @willswanson with the post: “Incredible image of a priest with ebola being prayed for from afar by his bishop in DRC. There is an outbreak of ebola in the country but officials say it can be contained #EbolaDRC #DRC #Ebola via @arnoldkatako”
Despite global concerns of the outbreak becoming another pandemic, DRC authorities say the spread will be contained.
