Teenagers Nabbed For Gang-Raping 14Yr-Old

Ogun State Police Command has arrested two teenagers – Kehinde Oloyede, 18 and Abiodun Ishola, 19, for allegedly gang-raping a 14-year-old girl in Obantoko, Odeda Local Government area of the state.

A statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the incident happened on Saturday when the victims was going to a shop where she learn hairdressing.
The PPRO said the victim was unaware of the environmental exercise declared by the state but was informed by Abiodun who also offered her abode while the restriction lasted.
Abiodun was reported to have stylishly taken her bag to one of the rooms in his father’s house while he sent for his friend, Kehinde, unknown to the victim.

Oyeyemi said it was in the process the two suspects overpowered the girl and gang-raped her.
He further said that the girl’s screaming alerted the neighbours who rushed to the scene and rescued the girl.
The statement read in part, “Police in Ogun State have arrested two men for raping a 14-year-old girl in Obantoko area of Odeda Local Government Abeokuta.
“The two suspects Abiodun Ishola, 19 and Kehinde Oloyede, 18 years were arrested following a complaint from the victim (name withheld) who reported that she is a hairdressing apprentice and that she was going to her boss’ shop unknown to her that there was environmental sanitation exercise going on.

“She stated further that Abiodun, who was sitting in front of his father’s house, informed her of the restriction of movement and asked her to come and stay in their house pending when the exercise will last.
“While she was staying with the said Abiodun, he stylishly took her bag inside and when she wanted to leave, he told her to go and pick her bag from inside, not knowing that he had sent for his friend, Kehinde, who later joined him and they both forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
