LagosExplorer reports: Nigerian music star Keshinro Ololade, popularly known as Lil Kesh, has reportedly been stabbed and robbed during a violent attack in Lagos, leaving fans and colleagues deeply worried.
Eyewitnesses told Hip TV that the singer was ambushed by unknown assailants on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The attackers allegedly inflicted injuries on his neck before carting away expensive jewelry worth millions of naira. The frightening incident has once again raised concerns about insecurity in Nigeria’s busiest city.
Lil Kesh, one of the pioneers of street-pop and Afrobeats fusion, broke into the industry more than a decade ago and has remained relevant with a catalogue of hit singles and collaborations with heavyweights such as Olamide, Davido, and Fireboy DML.
